HPC in Europe: Connecting Europe’s HPC community through one shared identity, one portal, and one vision

HPC in Europe is the common umbrella brand for Europe's network of National Competence Centres (NCCs) like SIDE, Centres of Excellence (CoEs), and other European High-Performance Computing (HPC) initiatives. Bringing together partners across more than 36 countries, it strengthens a user-centred approach while creating a more connected and coherent European HPC ecosystem.

Im Mittelpunkt dieser Initiative steht das „HPC in Europe“-Portal – ein zentrales Portal, das Zugang zu HPC-Diensten, Fachwissen, Schulungen, Veranstaltungen, Erfolgsgeschichten, Videos, Podcasts und weiteren Ressourcen aus ganz Europa bietet. Indem es die Aktivitäten der NCCs, CoEs und anderer EU-finanzierter Projekte unter einer gemeinsamen Identität und Website zusammenführt, vereinfacht das Portal den Zugang zu europäischen HPC-Ressourcen und -Diensten. Es schafft ein besser vernetztes, leichter auffindbares und auf Zusammenarbeit ausgerichtetes Ökosystem. Dies erleichtert Ihnen das Finden benötigter Informationen, Unterstützung und Möglichkeitenunabhängigvon deren Standort.

By connecting national efforts under a strong European identity and website, HPC in Europe enhances the reach, impact, and accessibility of the entire network - making high-performance computing more visible, more collaborative, and easier to engage with across Europe.

The portal will initially feature content from National Competence Centres like SIDE and European HPC Centres of Excellence. Over time, it will expand to include additional projects and organisations from the European HPC ecosystem, creating an increasingly comprehensive gateway to HPC in Europe.
